Capi Wampler: I do not remember how long I rented the small apartment from Miss Ann on Linden Ave. It was a long time for certain. We enjoyed conversations of gardening, GPI where she had worked years ago, and just everyday chats. She was so very kind to me...even taking great care of me when I became ill and was in bed for several days. She knew my Mom & I bought / sold antiques so as she decided, we bought some things from Miss Ann. I actually still have a few special pieces in my home. I will take care and remember her kindness to me. She was a treasure and I am all the better for having known her.

I was glad to stay there until I got married six years ago. Since then we always sent her Christmas and vacation cards.
